Story Studio specialises in constructing and producing personalised recordings of your most cherished life memories, achievements and advice to future generations. These recordings will be handed down by loved ones for generations to come to celebrate the legacy of your life.
Our experienced team of professionals support you in creating the content for your personal documentary, help construct the wording, film the video and edit the final product. This video will then be presented as a gift for you and your family to enjoy.

Standard Story
Producing your story
You will receive an initial set of questions to help you build your story before the interview, a call with your interviewer on Microsoft Teams or over the phone and a filming session at the location of your choice for up to 2 hours.
Development
The footage will be edited into a film memoir lasting up to 45 minutes. The film will be interspersed with up to 15 photos or documents.
Product
You will receive a Story Studio gift box containing a USB drive. This will contain your Story Studio film to be shared with your family.

Enhanced Story
Producing your story
You will receive an initial set of questions to help you and one other person build your story before the interview, a call with your interviewer on Microsoft Teams or over the phone and a filming session at up to two locations of your choice for up to 3 hours overall. Your 3 favourite songs can be included in your film in the form of a Desert Island Discs style interview.
Development
The footage will be edited into a film memoir lasting up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. The film will be interspersed with up to 30 photos or documents. Desert Island Disc style anecdotes will be added with clips from those songs.
Product
You will receive two Story Studio boxes containing USB drives. This will contain your Story Studio film to be shared with your family.

Deluxe Story
Producing your story
You will receive an initial set of questions to help you and up to four people to build your family's story, a call with your interviewer on Microsoft Teams or over the phone and a filming session at up to four locations of your choice for up to 6 hours overall. A mixture of both joint and individual interviews will be undertaken to tell the story of your family tree. Your favourite songs can be included in your film in the form of a Desert Island Discs style interview.
Development
The footage will be edited into a film memoir lasting up to 2 hours and 30 minutes. The film will be interspersed with up to 50 photos or documents. The history of your family will be built with you and your family tree detailed within the film. Desert Island Disc style anecdotes will be added with clips from those songs.

You will receive four Story Studio boxes containing USB drives which will contain your Story Studio film to be shared with your family.

Travel Expenses
Story Studio offers the first 20 miles for any package free of charge. Travel beyond 20 miles will be charged at 45p per mile from our location in Bolton, Greater Manchester, in line with HMRC approved milage rates. This means a journey with a total of 50 miles including return travel from base would be charged at £13.50. Any tolls, parking fees and congestion charges or additional travel fees will be charged at cost.
